At first glance at this campground, I was disappointed by how small the sites were, they are not spread out at all, but we made it work just setting up our tent instead of our canopy as well. The picnic table was a small 4 person table, that didn't give room for sitting and cooking. We had one of the sites on the pond, but in hindsight I wish I had reserved something off of the pond, as my kids were eaten alive by the mosquitoes as soon as they jumped out of the truck to set up. The mosquitoes were really bad 🙁 - we did make the most of our trip, and had two beautiful days of weather. Old Orchard Beach is 25 minutes away, and Biddeford Pool Beach is 8 minutes away (beautiful!!!) They had a game room, but it was only 3 table games, no pinball/video games & the Foosball table was missing two legs. On the good side: The bathrooms were CLEAN, I know some folks said it needed bleach - the showers were immaculate and toilets and sinks were clean - this is a big PLUS in my book. The dishwashing station was also a big plus as well!! The other huge plus at this place was the beautiful brand new salt water pool. I came down with my 2 littles at around dinner time, and it was in a beautiful spot with the sunset. Wish we could have spent more time swimming in it. Also, the family that just bought this place is very kind and helpful, when I first got there it was POURING rain, and we weren't sure how we were going to set up. We left and came back, and were really worried about the size of the site, I called after hours, so it was awhile before someone got back to me, so we set up anyway - but someone did call me back. We were able to make the most of it anyway. I would definitely come back to this place if we had an RV rental, or if they built cabins in some sites, but I'm not sure they'd have enough room. Tenting was a bit of a challenge. One tip: Bring the bugspray or a Thermacell!! read less
